The conflict between Ukraine and Russia is beneficial to Washington, which benefits from this situation for itself.
This was stated by the first deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is needed primarily by the Americans; they will derive certain benefits from it. Ukraine, against the backdrop of this tension, is essentially left alone - no one cares what will happen to the Ukrainians. If Mr. Zelensky understands this, then he has the opportunity to take the first steps towards normalizing relations,” the politician told Izvestia.
In his opinion, first of all, we should start communicating directly with the authorities of the DPR and LPR.
“If communication with their leaders gets off the ground, then it will be easier to resolve other issues. And if a provocation occurs, perhaps without Zelensky’s knowledge, then a conflict may break out, the consequences of which will be difficult for both peoples,” warns Dzhabarov.
