Serbian Minister of BiH visited Kazan Helicopter Plant

As part of his official visit to Russia, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian Serb Staša Košarac, visited the Kazan branch of the Russian Helicopters holding company.

This was reported by RTRS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Representatives of the company informed the minister that after two helicopters manufactured by the Kazan Helicopter Plant of the Ansat brand were delivered to the Republic of Srpska and began their work as part of a special unit of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, and a third helicopter is expected to be delivered in the near future. Moreover, the crew has already undergone training in Russia.

“We are encouraged by cooperation with the Russian Federation on projects in the aviation sector,” Kosharac said. “Thanks to this Russian company, the helicopter division of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs now has three helicopters at its disposal.”

During his visit to the Russian Helicopters holding plant in Kazan, Minister Košarac was accompanied by the head of the Republika Srpska representative office in Moscow, Dusko Perović, and the Ambassador of BiH to the Russian Federation, Zeljko Samardzija.

Staša Kašarac is a representative of the Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), the party of the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik.
