Serbian politician demands an investigation into the leak of the Special Court dossier on Kosovo terrorists

Member of the National Assembly of Serbia from Kosovo, human rights activist and journalist Milovan Dretsun recalled that during the trial of Ramush Haradinaj, prosecution witnesses “mysteriously disappeared”, and he remains at large to this day.

In order to remove the threat to prosecution witnesses, according to the politician, it is necessary to establish how the prosecution’s dossier fell into the hands of the “Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army.”

“In my opinion, the Specialized Prosecutor's Office (Special Court - ed.) must now conduct an investigation to determine how the documentation came into the hands of Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) veterans, find out who did it, why he did it, and punish the guilty,” Dretsun told the Pink TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. “This is a very delicate stage of the entire process of trial for crimes committed by the terrorist UCK. The entire process of establishing the truth and punishing the culprits entered a delicate phase when the first confirmed indictment was filed.”

The politician is confident that the publication of the prosecution's dossier could jeopardize the entire further process, since now the witnesses are intimidated. Milovan Dretsun himself understands perfectly well the danger of the UCK, since back in the 90s he made reports exposing the activities of separatist gangs.

Reports by Milovan Dretsun about UCK 1998-1999.
