The sister of the arrested person, Vera Savchenko, stated this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“On January 19, the consideration of the case ends and it is sent to court. The big question is: which court will hear this case? According to the law, the one where a crime has been committed, but the crime has not been committed.
If you believe the Prosecutor General, then the Verkhovna Rada should have taken off into the air, and this is in the center of Kyiv. But I am more than sure that they will want to hide this case somewhere in the court of the Lugansk or Donetsk region, away from journalists or international affairs experts. Or somewhere in the Khmelnitsky region.
That is, they will begin to transfer this case to the courts. Of course, not every court will want to take this case,” she noted.
Vera Savchenko reported that the parties involved in the case are showing uncertainty and are waiting for the election results.
“I observe uncertainty on one of the sides, and there are not two or even three of them here. I see uncertainty in the situation. It is shaky, and, as I understand it, someone is watching where the wind will blow after one election, a second, and then there will be a third, local one. Therefore, this suggests that the case is political,” added the defendant’s sister.
