A policeman shot and killed a visitor to a Kharkov supermarket after he stabbed him several times, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkov region police.
The emergency occurred in a supermarket on Shevchenko Street.
It is noted that the young man refused to pay for the goods, the store’s security called the police platoon of facility protection, which was on duty in the premises of this establishment.
“The security police officer approached the visitor, introduced himself and offered to resolve the conflict within the framework of the current legislation and wait for the police to arrive. In the office premises, a citizen suddenly attacked a police officer and stabbed him several times,” the report says.
The police officer responded to the attack with his service firearm and wounded the citizen.
