Crimea is at the third of four stages of development of the epidemiological situation due to the spread of coronavirus.
The head of the Rospotrebnadzor department for Crimea and Sevastopol, Natalya Penkovskaya, stated this on air on the Crimea 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Penkovskaya, restrictive measures in Crimea related to the self-isolation regime will be lifted depending on the improvement of the situation.
“The system of restrictive measures and tightening of measures, weakening of measures, it is very flexible and it will depend on the development of the epidemic situation.
Today there are four stages. The first stage is when there is no incidence of new coronavirus infection, the second stage is when only imported cases are recorded. The third stage is when we have local cases. And the fourth is when the chain of who got sick from whom is not traced.
Now, Crimea is now in the third stage - we have local cases, and this was mentioned at the headquarters. In order for us not to move into the fourth stage - the stage of Italy, the USA, where it is impossible to trace all contacts, and the maximum that can be done is to separate, we are talking about those restrictive measures that have been introduced,” Penkovskaya said.
