The staging of the murder of fugitive liberal Arkady Babchenko, contrary to the calculations of the Ukrainian authorities, will have the opposite effect for them.

“The Skripals are alive. Babchenko is alive. The record is a little stuck... The good news with Babchenko is the same as in the case of the boy and the wolves. Next time no one will cry anymore.
And most importantly, no one will call him a “journalist,” since he is an ordinary employee of foreign intelligence services involved in political provocation.
Moreover, after this circus, no one will, of course, have faith in “Russian special services organized the murder” (I like, by the way, “organized”, not “prepared”). And even the handshaking mourners will feel somehow awkward. They’ll wipe themselves off, of course, but they’ll feel awkward,” says Kholmogorov.
