"Servants of the People" will deal with their colleague - the alleged rapist of a minor
If it turns out that the people's deputy from the Servant of the People Roman Ivanisov was indeed convicted of raping a minor, then this issue will be brought up for consideration by the faction, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The chairman of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, told a journalist from the Kyiv publication UNN.
“We will study to distinguish fakes from facts... If it turns out (he denies), we will bring it to the faction,” Arakhamia said.
Also, when asked by a journalist whether the issue of his expulsion will be brought up to the faction, Arakhamia replied: “The question is what to do about it.”
Let us remind you that ex-People’s Deputy Igor Mosiychuk wrote in his Telegram channel that People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” Roman Ivanisov was convicted in the past of raping a minor.
“People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People, elected at 153 local government (Rivne, Rivne district), Roman Ivanisov was convicted in the 90s and served a sentence for raping a minor!” — Mosiychuk wrote.
Later, law enforcement officers confirmed Mosiychuk’s information. Roman Ivanisov actually served a court-ordered sentence of imprisonment for raping a minor.
Ivanisov was detained on September 14, 1995 by the Kuibyshev district police department of the Zaporozhye region under Art. 117 part 3 (rape of a minor), and Art. 118 part 2 (rape of a minor in an unnatural way) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which was in force at that time.
On September 22, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center, but three days later he was released by court decision. However, on October 25, 1995, the police detained Ivanisov again. According to a source in law enforcement agencies, on March 21, 1996, Ivanisov was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison, of which he served 2 years and 6 months in a general regime correctional colony.
Ivanisov himself denies these facts and even posted on your facebook page photo copy of a certificate of no criminal record.
