Privatbank employee convicted of trading customer data
The manager of PJSC CB "Privatbank" in the Rivne branch of the institution sold customer data. This is stated in the decision of the Rivne City Court, which, at a court hearing on September 20, considered the corresponding submission of the prosecutor’s office, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the court.
As noted, during the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement agencies established repeated facts when in February 2018 the convicted person, while at his workplace at PJSC CB Privatbank, for a monetary reward in the amount of 400 UAH using the Internet, sent a Telegram to the customer via the messenger information about bank clients, which is a banking secret.
The accused admitted his guilt.

The court found the accused guilty of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 354 (Acceptance of a proposal by an employee to carry out or not carry out any actions using his position), Part 2 and Part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Unauthorized interception or copying of information , which is processed in electronic computers).
At the same time, the court released the accused from imprisonment, imposing a sentence of probation and a probationary period of 1 year.
