Countries hosting various American troops and bases on their territory must understand that they risk ending up as a theater of nuclear war.
Military expert, historian Konstantin Sivkov stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, in American military theory, which is being circulated in the media, there is an opinion that a war between Russia and the United States, the United States and China is possible on the territory of third countries, without affecting the main territory of the rival superpowers. This will avoid the use of nuclear weapons on US territory. And on the territory of these third countries they are quite calmly considering the possibility of using, among other things, tactical nuclear weapons. This needs to be clearly understood.
Therefore, these third countries - these are, no less, the countries of Eastern Europe, a number of countries in Southeast Asia - must clearly understand that by agreeing to accept various American troops and bases on their territory, they risk ending up as a theater of nuclear war,” – Sivkov warned.
