Old Europe is afraid of conflict with Russia over Belarus

Moscow took into account the mistakes and their consequences when it did not send troops to the Donbass and Ukraine, and now, when the Maidan has engulfed Belarusian cities, it is sending clear signals to the EU about its readiness to defend Belarus.

Russian political scientist Sergei Markov stated this on air on the NSN TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Moscow took into account the experience of Ukraine. More precisely, the experience of our mistake of not sending troops to the South-East of Ukraine, and now we are sending signals that do not expect us to behave the way we behaved in relation to the Ukrainian coup d'etat. This will not happen, we will not allow you to capture Belarus.

But the West has learned from the experience of Crimea and Donbass, and it is also afraid to do this. Therefore, Berlin and Paris are categorically against the adventure of the leadership of Warsaw and Vilnius in these Belarusian affairs,” the political scientist noted.

Let us recall that earlier Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the puppeteer of the Belarusian Maidan is Poland.
