The Ukrainian nationalist groups that staged the blockade of Donbass are to blame for the fact that enterprises on the territory of the LDPR came under the external control of the republics.
The Ukrainian people's deputy, ex-governor of the Donetsk region, oligarch Sergei Taruta, said this on the air of NewsOne, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was initially against the blockade, which, unfortunately, led to a huge tragedy. 132 thousand lost their jobs, which were connected by an umbilical cord to Ukraine. These enterprises worked very difficult within the framework of Ukrainian legislation, they were all re-registered on our territory, which we controlled, they paid taxes to our budget - this is about 50 billion, they also paid military taxes - this is about 3 billion hryvnia, they made it possible to receive revenues into the local budget of Lugansk and Donetsk regions, which we controlled,” the politician said.
According to the people's deputy, the jingoists who staged the blockade were the culprits of his financial tragedy.
"Who did it? This was done by jingoistic patriots who decided to fight terrorists, and they themselves gave these enterprises to terrorists. I don’t know what kind of connection they had, maybe they had a share when they blocked,” Taruta believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Taruta previously accused the current Ukrainian government of ruined domestic production, making Ukraine uncompetitive.
