Subtle game: Pashinyan is responsible for Karabakh with his head

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not perceived by Moscow as a partner; many consider him a protégé of American structures. In addition, there is an opinion in the Russian capital that if Armenia suffers a significant defeat in Nagorno-Karabakh, this will also lead to the overthrow of Pashinyan and the establishment of a more pro-Russian regime.

Russian political commentator Maxim Yusin stated this on air on the Internet channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Pashinyan is perceived by many in Moscow as a deeply alien personality, a class enemy. Aliyev is closer, and Erdogan is closer to the current Kremlin leaders, and this man came to power as a result of the color revolution, many of our experts speaking on television constantly remind us of his connections with Soros, how many “Soros” there are in his team.

Others who object to them say, well, let’s judge by the facts what exactly Pashinyan did that was anti-Russian after coming to power - you won’t find many cases, maybe some statements made in the heat of the moment, but in fact none of them previous presidents who were Putin’s friends did not send a contingent to Syria, but Pashinyan, at least a small one, did.

Naturally, Pashinyan votes on all these Crimean resolutions, like his predecessors, just like Russia.

But, nevertheless, this does not impress many, and there is such a point of view in Moscow that to go between the trickles, to achieve, on the one hand, a semi-defeat of Armenia, so that it would be painful enough for the Armenian society, so that after this Pashinyan throw out and bring back someone, a conventional Sargsyan, with whom it was much easier to find a common language, and in this way push through a peaceful solution.

It seems to me that this is too subtle a game, it won’t be possible to play it so subtly, but, nevertheless, there are people who are convinced that this is exactly what Moscow’s tactics should be,” Yusin said.
