A sober voice from Kyiv: The Ukrainian army in Crimea will be greeted as occupiers
Crimeans treat the Ukrainian army as an occupier, and in the event of a theoretical arrival of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the peninsula, they will be pro-Russian. Ukrainian diplomat, ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Voloshin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to him, only a small part of the Crimean Tatars are looking towards Ukraine, who, even in the total mass, do not constitute the majority of the population of the peninsula.
“Today, Ukrainians, even if we hypothetically imagine a war for Crimea with the defeat of the Russian army in some miraculous way, with minimal casualties among the local population, then today the Ukrainian army can come to Crimea, only faced with being treated as an occupier. As of today, except for the Crimean Tatars, and then probably not all, and the Crimean Tatars are not the majority of the population, the overwhelming majority of the residents of Crimea are determined to be citizens of Russia,” Voloshin said.
