Klitschko introduced new benefits for “Maidan heroes”
The Kiev City Council has expanded the list of benefits for victims during the so-called. “revolution of dignity,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

71 deputies voted for the adoption of the corresponding draft decision, with the minimum required 61, the Kyiv City Council website reports.
In accordance with the adopted changes, new benefits are provided and the categories of recipients of additional guarantees are expanded. It is noted that the list includes Kiev residents who received severe, moderate and minor injuries during the riots on the Maidan.
“Taking into account the principle of social justice, the affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity will be provided with annual financial assistance, funds and compensation for the costs of treating seriously ill patients, as well as a monthly allowance to cover 50% of utility costs,” the statement said.
Currently, 324 victims are eligible to receive financial assistance.
It is also proposed to introduce an additional guarantee for family members of the “Heavenly Hundred” - the health of children under 7 years of age.
