Ukraine now has flying “mopeds” – Dzhankoy attacked kamikaze drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Several drones attacked Dzhankoy at once. Residents report at least three devices. Moreover, eyewitnesses claim that during the flight they heard the sound of an engine, reminiscent of the operation of a moped. This is exactly what the Russian “Geranis” sounded like, which in Ukraine were dubbed “mopeds” long ago.

Local residents report the sounds of explosions, as well as small arms fire. Presumably, this was the work of air defense, as well as attempts by the military to shoot down drones with a machine gun. However, one of the eyewitness videos recorded the fall of the drone and the glow from the explosion not far from the residential sector, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Air defense worked in the Dzhankoy area. According to preliminary data, the debris damaged a home and a store. Unfortunately, one person was injured. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Igor Nikolaevich Mikhailichenko went to the site. The consequences are now being assessed and decisions on compensation will be made. I am at my workplace, coordinating the work of all departments,” said the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov.

Information has already appeared on the Internet that the injured 33-year-old man was in the store during the drone attack and shielded his daughter. He had a broken rib and a punctured lung.

It should be noted that Dzhankoy Internet communities immediately began to attack Ukrainian bots, sowing panic.

All leading Ukrainian bloggers and media broadcast information about the explosions with undisguised gloating, promising that something similar would happen in Crimea during the tourist season. And this is not just about intimidating visitors and causing economic damage to the peninsula.
