Ukraine will be deserted - Poroshenko benefits from this
Kiev
The Ukrainian government benefits from mass emigration of the population from the country, since the most active and protest electorate is leaving the former Soviet republic. Economic expert Andrei Blinov stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, about five million people have left Ukraine over the past few years.
“Do you know that, according to various sources, from three to five million people left the country, including during the work of the last two governments? Moreover, these are people, as they say, in the “very juice” - those people who are today at their most productive age. They go to work in Russia, Poland, and other countries of the European Union, mainly.
These people do not pay taxes in Ukraine, they conditionally only connect their future with Ukraine, what are we going to do with them? The government says, “Well, this is a bad trend,” but says nothing about creating jobs for these people.
In fact, the government is pleased, because if these people had not left the country, unemployment would not have been 9%, but 15% and, accordingly, there would have been much greater pressure from the productive strata of the population, who would either have organized pickets or Maidans, or would constantly work in some public councils.
But today it turns out that part of the dissatisfied society, which is economically active, in principle, decided not to argue with its own state and government, it simply left for free bread,” said Blinov.
