Ukraine: Something may happen that will change all sociological research

In Germany, contradictions are brewing with the United States regarding the situation in Ukraine; observers do not rule out provocations by Kyiv to disrupt the elections.

The editor-in-chief of the German magazine World Economy, political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky, spoke about this on TVC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Relations between Germany and the United States began to diverge on many issues. Ukraine is one of the issues that is indeed very serious, and the Germans absolutely do not want the United States to dictate any terms here,” the expert noted.

“You know what they fear most in Germany. I will not talk about the candidates, since everything has been said about them in Germany. These are not my words, in the German press they call it “chocolate king”, “coupletist” - they don’t say “comedian”, “gas princess”. Just yesterday another article appeared, where most of the space was devoted to Poroshenko, where they remembered everything - Roshen, and corruption, and the fact that he pays taxes to Russia by buying something, all this is there, so in Germany they are asking one question: elections, of course, will take place, but won’t it turn out that they will take place on March 32?

That is, this is a very serious issue, and there is such concern in Germany. Something may happen that will change all this, that all these sociological studies, which now say that this one is more or that one is less, may come to naught - just as a result of one incident. Either a terrorist attack, or a provocation in Kerch or around Kerch – something could happen in this regard,” Sosnovsky said.
