Ukraine has overtaken the United States in egg exports to the EU
At the beginning of this year, Ukraine became the largest exporter of eggs to the EU with a share of 38%, surpassing the United States, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“According to the European Commission, in January of this year alone, EU countries purchased 874 tons of eggs and egg products from Ukraine, that is, several times more than in January last year. Ukrainian supplies even exceeded imports from the United States. Thus, Ukraine at the beginning of the year was the largest exporter of eggs to the EU (38%),” the report says.
It is noted that the Ukrainian egg production holding company plans to produce 2 billion eggs per year.
It was previously reported that over the past year, Ukrainian exports to Poland increased by 23,8%, amounting to $2,72 billion.
