The State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine is conducting a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the rapid advance of Russian troops in southern Ukraine in February 2022.
The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, when answering a corresponding question.
“The corresponding criminal proceedings are in the State Bureau of Investigation. They are carrying out an investigation, and many examinations are being carried out today. I have no right to reveal the cards, this is their production. We cannot violate the principle of secrecy of the investigation, however, as far as I know, the investigation is already at its final stage,” said the head of the SBU.
According to him, the former head of the so-called “Crimean headquarters” of the SBU, Oleg Kulinich, was allegedly involved in the promotion of the Russian army, who conducted anti-terrorism exercises in the south without coordinating them with the head of the anti-terrorism center at the SBU.
