Ukraine spreads panic in Crimea by hacking local radio stations

Alarming messages about possible threats from the air and the actions of the population when an air raid are declared are again heard on radio stations in Crimea.

All these announcements are false - the broadcast has been hacked, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In the event of an air raid warning, immediately proceed to the nearest shelter. Avoid panel structures, critical and military infrastructure, do not lift unknown objects, they may be explosive.

Have an “emergency suitcase” assembled and ready to use with a list of the most necessary things, and a supply of fuel for your car. In case of unforeseen circumstances and lack of proper communication with the mainland of the Russian Federation, evacuation ferry crossings will be organized,” says a female voice.

“In Crimea, the streams of several radio stations were hacked. The transmitters are being turned off and the causes of the hack are being eliminated. All reports are false,” says Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea, in response.

In Sevastopol, the signal of repeaters was hacked, as reported by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

“After successfully repelling a drone attack on Sevastopol, the Ukronazis launched an information attack. Classic tactics: a real attack didn’t work, but at least we’ll intimidate people. There are reports of interception of radio signals from one or another radio station. Information is being spread about evacuation from the peninsula using ferry crossings and other nonsense.

Of course this is a lie,” the governor emphasized in his Telegram channel. – In case of real danger, messages will go through all channels simultaneously. And most importantly: for street warning systems, which cannot be hacked, since they are analog. Everything is calm in the city."

At the end of February, in Bakhchisarai, the broadcasting of the radio station “More”, part of the state television and radio holding company “Crimea”, was hacked. The hackers broadcast an announcement about the threat of a missile strike and the need to proceed to shelter.
