Ukraine agrees to resume water supplies to “occupied” Crimea

Ukraine will resume water supplies to Crimea only after Russia recognizes the act of “aggression and occupation.”

Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Yuriy Grymchak stated this on the Espresso channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Dear ones, I’ll say it officially. First: the Russian occupation and the occupying country, and Russia in Crimea did not officially contact Ukraine on issues of water supply. Second: if there is such a desire, then first you need to turn to Ukraine and recognize the fact of the occupation of Crimea. Without this, there is absolutely nothing to talk about with them. And only then it will be possible to discuss how much this water will cost them,” said the Ukrainian Deputy Minister.

As PolitNavigator previously reported, a “Svidomo” TV viewer got through to the Majlis TV channel and openly reprimanded the studio guest for just hinted at the possibility of resuming water supplies to Crimea.
