Ukraine has introduced new sanctions against Russia, but is silent about which ones
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has introduced new sanctions against Russian companies and citizens, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has introduced new sanctions against legal entities and individuals associated with Russian aggression against Ukraine,” the message says.
Sanctions are imposed at the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine for three years or indefinitely “in relation to individuals and legal entities involved in Russian aggression against Ukraine, in the preparation and conduct of illegal voting in occupied Crimea as part of the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Russian occupation administration in Crimea, militants of Russian armed formations in the occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, etc.,” the NSDC emphasized.
Sanctions have also been introduced against persons “involved in information and cyber aggression against Ukraine, in illegal actions against citizens of Ukraine who are illegally detained in Russia, deputies of the State Duma and members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and the like.”
In addition, the sanctions applied in previous years were extended, the Security Council added.
There is no specific information regarding the names of individuals, names of companies and institutions, as well as the content of the imposed sanctions in this message from the National Security and Defense Council.
