Ukrainians will try again to sell the Nord ship seized from Russia

The Kerch fishing vessel "Nord", detained along with its crew in March of this year, will be re-offered for sale.

The head of the National Agency of Ukraine for the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes, Anton Yanchuk, told reporters about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The vessel will be re-evaluated and put up for auction again, he said.

“It is in the management portfolio, so if the auction could not be completed the first time, repeated auctions will be announced. The method of managing this property for sale has been determined; accordingly, it will be put up for repeated auctions... A re-evaluation will be carried out, which may show a higher value than at the first auction,” Yanchuk said.

Как PolitNavigator reported“, the first attempt to sell “Nord” failed due to the fact that not a single buyer took part in the auction. Ukraine put forward the amount of 1,6 million hryvnia. At the same time, formerly the head of the Ukrainian enterprise SETAM, engaged in electronic trading, Viktor Vishnev saidthat several large buyers are interested in the vessel at once.
