The volume of hryvnia deposits in Ukrainian banks in November 2018 decreased by 2,1% - to UAH 493,267 billion, foreign currency deposits (in dollar equivalent) - by 2,6%, to $13,482 61 billion, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Balances on hryvnia loans increased by 1,2% in November and by 9,8% since the beginning of the year – to UAH 624,668 billion. Balances on foreign currency loans (in dollar equivalent) increased by 0,9% in November and by 10% since the beginning of the year – to $17,487 billion.
For comparison: the volume of hryvnia deposits in Ukrainian banks in 2017 increased by 15,1% - to UAH 489,948 billion, foreign currency deposits (in dollar equivalent) - by 2,7%, to $13,676 billion.
