Ukrainian admitted to the SBU that he is an FSB spy

A former employee of the Crimean Titan plant admitted that he was recruited by the Russian FSB, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported in the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Special service operatives established that “in the winter of 2018, representatives of the FSB of the Russian Federation recruited a resident of the Kherson region, a former employee of the Crimean Titan plant, during his trip to temporarily occupied Crimea. While going through passport control at the Armyansk checkpoint, the man was invited for an additional “conversation.” Using methods of psychological and physical pressure, intelligence officers demanded that he confess to mythical connections with the Security Service of Ukraine. In addition, representatives of the FSB hinted at the man’s alleged involvement in the accident on the Crimean Titan, seeing in this signs of sabotage.

Without receiving real testimony from the Ukrainian, the FSB officers forced him to write a “confession” under dictation about working for the SBU and an obligation to secretly cooperate.

After returning to Ukrainian-controlled territory, the man came to the attention of the domestic intelligence service. Now he has provided detailed testimony about all the circumstances of his recruitment,” the Ukrainian intelligence service said in a statement.
