The Ukrainian blockade will integrate the LDPR economy into the Russian one - political scientist
Due to the war and blockade, the banking connection between the LDPR and Ukraine was destroyed.

Political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
“It was easier for the republics to have these people (employees of Ukrainian enterprises - Ed) work. There is no banking connection, it is destroyed. Germany promised at the time of signing the Minsk agreements to fix everything within a month. That did not happen. People receive salaries because their enterprises are part of vertically integrated holdings of Ukrainian oligarchs. They receive in Ukrainian money. Nobody in Donbass pays taxes directly to Kyiv, taxes are calculated in total,” Kulikov said.
He believes that the blockade of Donbass will lead to the republics’ economies being integrated into the Russian one.
“It is natural that now these enterprises will be cut off from these holdings, and external management will be introduced. They will not be able to function normally due to the blockage. Maybe nationalization will be carried out next step. And then these enterprises will be integrated into another economic space. First of all, to the Russian one,” says Kulikov.
