The Ukrainian delegation jumped up as if scalded at the negotiations in Minsk
At the negotiations in Minsk, the Ukrainian delegation is allegedly constantly being provoked and trying to throw it out of its psychological balance.
The Kiev magazine “New Time” writes about this, talking about the trip of the vice-speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, Irina Gerashchenko, to the part of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“On the way to Novoluganskoe, which is about an hour’s journey, Gerashchenko talks not about Donbass, but about how the negotiations are actually going on in Minsk. Representatives of Russia behave quietly and diplomatically, relegating the role of provocateurs to their charges - the separatists invited to Minsk. According to Gerashchenko, when the parties gathered in Belarus after August 31, 2018—the day of the bombing of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko in the Donetsk cafe Separ—representatives of the “republics” tried to solemnly honor his memory. “The Ukrainian delegation left, slamming the door,” the publication reports the vice-speaker’s story.
According to her, after the Ukrainian delegation returned and honored the memory of those killed “as a result of Russian aggression.”
Gerashchenko also claims that the main task of the representatives of the Donbass republics at the negotiations in Minsk is to “be rude, throw hysterics and in every possible way throw the Ukrainian side out of psychological balance.”
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Gerashchenko stated that she was going to Minsk with a heavy heart and scary nightly news.
In this case, Ukrainian volunteers criticized Gerashchenko for sabotaging the exchange of prisoners.
