Ukrainian marines teach children in the Carpathians to fight according to the "ATO" patterns

Last weekend in the Carpathians, as part of the project “Camp “Land of Wolves,” events were held to train young people, taking into account the experience of the war in Donbass.

This was reported on the event’s official Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The exercises were organized by ATO veterans and soldiers of the 140th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They taught military science to more than two dozen children from Ternopil, Rivne, Svatovo and Kherson.

“Nine girls and twelve boys trained, studied and learned about military science - how a reconnaissance group moves, how to provide assistance to the wounded, how to set up bases, how to search for the enemy, the wounded, how to evacuate, topography, orienteering. Now, when these lines are being written, the young men are still carrying out tasks in the mountains and will return to base only tomorrow by lunch (no one said that it would be easy).

The training took place both day and night, but today is the final day's training, according to the results of which those who endured will receive the right to wear the “Wolves” chevron.

The classes were taught by veterans and active Marine reconnaissance officers. Many scenarios that were worked out during training repeated real situations that occurred in eastern Ukraine,” the report says.
