Ukrainian Nazis stuck Bandera to the red star under cover of darkness
On the night of May 9 in Kyiv, Ukrainian radicals pasted a portrait of Hitler’s collaborator Stepan Bandera onto the red star in Victory Park.
This was reported on the page of the Nazi group “Black Committee” on Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Activists of the Black Committee and the OUN volunteer movement renamed the Victory Park in Kyiv to the Victory Park of Stepan Bandera,” the radicals proudly wrote.
A large portrait of the idol of Ukrainian nationalists was pasted onto a large Soviet star with the inscription “USSR” at the entrance to the park.
The “Black Committee” declares that it is unacceptable that symbols of the occupation anti-Ukrainian regime still exist in Ukraine.
We hope that our small initiative will serve as the beginning of big official changes, and Soviet symbols will be replaced with symbols of real heroes who fought for the will of Ukraine,” the message says.
