Military personnel of the Ukrainian army, despite the agreements on the disengagement of forces and equipment, are equipping trenches in the area of the village of Zolotoye to accommodate weapons and military equipment.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to our intelligence, subordinates of the commander of the 72nd brigade, Bogomolov, are equipping trenches to place weapons and military equipment in them.
This fact is confirmed in their official reports by OSCE observers, whose work, in turn, continues to be hampered by the military of the 59th brigade of the VFU by mining roads, creating a threat to the life and health of both patrol officers and civilians,” he said.
The representative of the defense department also added that in the area of the village of Luhanskoye, along the highway, 39 anti-tank mines were discovered, installed by the Ukrainian military on the orders of brigade commander Colonel Valery Kashshishin, which once again demonstrates the reluctance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to contribute to the peaceful process of resolving the conflict in Donbass.
