Ukrainian MP visited Crimea: I felt like a guest, it was very unpleasant

Ukraine should build more and not flirt with “activists,” taking the example of construction in Crimea. Deputy of the city council Bogdan Giganov stated this on the air of the Odessa TV channel “Academy”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

The politician said that he had visited Crimea and complained that he now felt like a guest. At the same time, Giganov emphasized that the population of the peninsula “lives well.”

“I just wanted to see how people lived there, plus I had a family situation. My wife’s sister, we haven’t seen each other for four years, she lives in Salekhard, very far away. They were given a ticket to Crimea, and it was decided to go and meet in Crimea.

You know, you feel like a guest, it’s all very sad.

I am happy, of course, that somehow he is there, of course, I cannot say that they live badly - no. But I felt like a guest, and this made me very unpleasant.

But the general situation, of course, is such that I was happy for them. They did not have this negativity that was accompanied by the previous government - activists, constant destruction of some kind.

I can’t say that they are in the magical world now, but somehow they are slowly getting upset. We also need to think more about creation,” said Giganov.
