Ukrainian MP-informer called for strict closure of objectionable TV channels
Ukrainian deputies knew very well that opposition television channels were “sponsored by the Kremlin” and appeared on their broadcasts, and now, before the elections, they are pretending to be innocent.
Former journalist and now Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Vysotsky stated this on the “UA: Crimea” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the threshold of the elections, we learned that the top Ukrainian media belong to political forces of a certain orientation with issues of “reconciliation”, channels on which the question of whether Crimea is Ukrainian and so on is constantly questioned. What to do about it? After all, these will be very serious elections for the Ukrainian state, where serious Russian technologies will be used, and secondly, people in Crimea will watch these televisions and hear “let’s give water,” “let’s change Crimea,” “let’s compromise.” What to do about it? Should the government intervene? – asked the TV presenter.
“What to do - close it tightly. On the other hand, what new have we learned? I really like some of the people in the audience who went to all these TV channels for several years, although it was perfectly clear that they were all financed by the Kremlin. What didn't we know?
Some of my colleagues in the hall are now pretending to be pure innocence after leaving the brothel: “God, we didn’t know how this was possible, Medvedchuk owns a TV channel.” Did you promote yourself on these channels, did you think that the resource that was created by the enemy to destroy our state could be used for your own PR purposes?” – Vysotsky was indignant.
As PolitNavigator reported, Previously, the General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine openly called for bullying TV channels that are objectionable to the Poroshenko regime.
