Trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey since the beginning of 2016 has amounted to more than $2 billion.

This was announced by the Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov during a meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Customs and Trade of the Republic of Turkey, the press service of the department reports.
“The trade turnover between Ukraine and Turkey since the beginning of 2016 has amounted to more than $2 billion, of which $1,4 billion are exports, and $667 million are imports,” Nasirov noted.
“I am convinced that countries that have large trade turnover and even greater potential for the development of trade and economic relations should cooperate much more actively in the customs sphere,” the official added.
According to Roman Nasirov, the Turkish side has already provided draft interdepartmental documents aimed at strengthening interaction between the customs authorities of the two countries and creating favorable conditions for business activities in Ukraine and Turkey.
