The Kiev Gauleiter admitted that fighting is now continuing within the city limits of Severodonetsk - in the villages of Shchedrishchevo and Voronovo.
According to Gaidai, the Russians have not abandoned the idea of cutting off the Lugansk region from the rest of the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, capturing the Lisichansk-Bakhmut road. Thus, they surrounded the Ukrainian military in Severodonetsk and Lisichansk.
In general, the Ukrainian official finally recognized the fact, long denied by Kiev, that today the LPR already controls 90% of the territory of the Lugansk region and is close to finally reaching the administrative borders. And Ukraine controls only a small piece of territory, amounting to 10% of the region’s territory.
To a question from a propagandist for the US-funded grant-eating publication “Current Time,” “Looking at the map, is it possible to say that about 10% of the Lugansk region remains under Ukrainian control?”, Sergey Gadai answered affirmatively: “Yes, somewhere like that.”
“Today the surroundings of Rubezhnoye are under our control; Lisichansk, Severodonetsk (+ villages and towns of communities), Gorskaya community and the territory along the Lisichansk-Bakhmut road to the border with the Donetsk region,” laments Gaidai.
