Ukrainian general told how he fired from Buk missiles at Russian drones

In Ukrainian-controlled Kramatorsk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces generals amused themselves by shooting at “Russian drones” from anti-aircraft missile systems.

The ex-chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, General of the Ukrainian Army Alexander Kikhtenko said this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When they tell me that Russian UAVs attacked warehouses, I am skeptical about these statements, because Russia does not have such drones at all. They have reconnaissance, they can give coordinates or something else, but they do not have attack UAVs,” Kikhtenko said.

“We have an excellent development, which was designed four years ago, “Enclave” - this is an effective means of combating unmanned aircraft. Why is he still not in the Ukrainian Armed Forces? And we use Buk missiles to shoot at drones. There was such a case in Kramatorsk (a city of the DPR controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces - ed.), when I was the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration,” the military official added.

“From Buk?” – the presenter was surprised.

“Yes, from Buk.” But this is unwise and ineffective. In my opinion, this is the beginning of 2015,” the general clarified.
