“I hope that the Minister of Justice or his subordinates can answer how he was appointed to this position. He works until my appointment as Prosecutor General. The only thing I can say that I raised an intellectual, moral and spiritual person is my son. I’m proud of this,” Yarema said at a press conference.
He assured that his son is different from the son of Viktor Yanukovych.
“He does not take bribes, he works honestly, earning his 6,5 thousand UAH per month (less than $600, – ed.)", said the Prosecutor General.
“Does he also live on 6,5 thousand?” – the journalists did not let up.
“Well, we’re helping him,” Yarema answered, looking down.
“The cards are in your hands, as they say. You can check who orders these articles if they are custom. Yesterday there were only 108 messages about my son. I don’t know where the corruption lies,” the prosecutor added.
Yarema believes that he was faced with “information pressure”, which he had already been exposed to while working in the police in the fight against organized crime.
“It just turns me on. And we won't stop. And those who want to influence the state of the investigation of criminal cases are mistaken,” the Prosecutor General said with pathos.
