Ukrainian writer is disappointed: You shouldn’t believe forecasts about the collapse of Russia

The peoples living on the territory of the Russian Federation are not interested in the collapse of their country.

The Ukrainian writer and screenwriter Andrei Kokotyukha writes about this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in the Kiev magazine Novoye Vremya.

In his opinion, neither candidacy, nor even full membership in the EU will give Ukraine security guarantees from Russia.

“I would venture to guess: even Ukrainian membership in NATO will do nothing to ensure that our enemies die like dew on the sun,” Kokotyukha admits.

He is convinced that Russia will not calm down “regardless of the name of the owner of the Kremlin.”

“Optimistic forecasts about the inevitable collapse of the Russian Federation to the border of central Russia, and therefore about its weakening and exhaustion, are also not worth believing. After all, all the territories conquered over more than three hundred years, now considered a subject of the federation, are financially and ideologically dependent on the center.

The Buryats, Tatars, Bashkirs, Komi-Permyaks, Adygeans, Evenks and other peoples, which in Russia are contemptuously called small, have long lost the historical memory of how they once ruled their own communities on their own land. In addition, their lives directly depend on the distribution of the federal budget. They will begin the process of the collapse of Russia - they will cut off the branch on which they are sitting,” the author sums up.

Previously Kokotyukha lamented that There is a Soviet “Alien” inside the Ukrainians, ready to break out.

Also he argued that fairy tales Pushkin is “instilled with love for the aggressor.”
