Deputy Head of the Military Medical Academy for Clinical Work, Colonel of the Medical Service Vladimir Steblyuk stated this in an interview with Glavred.

“Hepatitis C is most often transmitted through sexual contact. This is a problem, because it is clear that some of the soldiers are going crazy—where there is alcohol, there is unprotected sex—and the sex industry is thriving in this zone. There are prostitutes from the local population, it’s practically like a biological war, because they are HIV-infected, with hepatitis - and the guys have unprotected sex with them, and even if they have protected sex, then somewhere these condoms break, and somewhere they have oral sex unprotected, because the guy decided that he wouldn’t get infected that way - but you can get infected in any way. And in principle, the biggest risks for hepatitis C are injecting drugs and sexual intercourse,” complains the military doctor.

“Is this AIDS terrorism on the part of these prostitutes?” the publication clarified.

“Yes, there is such a thing there,” says Steblyuk. “In certain areas of the demarcation line there are specific individuals who are prostitutes, I know their names, this is actually HIV terrorism and AIDS terrorism.”

At the same time, he says that sex tourism is flourishing in the war zone, noting that “we have girls going to the ATO zone “to provide patriotic assistance.”

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian soldiers are prostitutes welcome exclamation “Glory to Ukraine”, as well as promise “pray for Ukraine and “don’t fall under the separatists.”
