The Ukrainian command does not provide military personnel located in the combat zone in Donbass with warm clothes and heating equipment.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Oleg Nikitin stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the inspection of the presence of personnel at the brigade’s strongholds, the commission of the headquarters of the OTG “Vostok” found that the militants in the positions were without warm clothes and heating equipment, and therefore an epidemic of pneumonia was noted in the unit. Over the past 8 hours, XNUMX military personnel have been hospitalized,” he said.
The representative of the defense department added that the brigade command does not respond to the demands of the soldiers to provide them with warm clothing, and therefore the military personnel are forced to take away warm clothing from local residents of nearby settlements.
