This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian department.

“Independently organizing the movement of a train in a self-proclaimed occupied territory is a threat to the safety of passengers. “Ukrzaliznytsia does not interact with the LPR authorities and has nothing to do with the organization of train traffic from Lugansk to Rostov,” the statement says.

As noted in Ukrzaliznytsia, the running of the train in this connection, as an international one between Ukraine and Russia, was not agreed upon at the last meeting of the Council on Railway Transport of the CIS and Baltic member states, which took place in May 2015 in Minsk.

The press service recalled that Ukrzaliznytsia currently does not operate passenger trains to Lugansk, but has limited it to the stations Artemovsk and Lysichansk. Thus, trains run daily: No. 224/206-205/223 Kharkov-Konstantinovka-Artemovsk, 532/531 Kyiv-Lisichansk and No. 609/610 Kharkov-Lisichansk.

Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, The other day, the head of the LPR announced that the transport department of the republic is working with Russian colleagues on the launch of the Lugansk-Rostov railway route.
