State Security Department: during the month of work there was not a single attempt on Zelensky’s life

There were no attempts on the life of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky after his election, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was stated by the first deputy head of the State Security Administration Vyacheslav Shtuchny, the press service of the State Security Administration of Ukraine reports.

“To date, since the election, there have been no attempts on the life of Vladimir Zelensky, but I think all citizens have felt that over the past two weeks we have been constantly reporting about the bombing of both government bodies and higher educational institutions. And this is a big burden both on the state security, and on the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine,” said Shtuchny.

He also added that today the president's motorcade is minimal, but it complies with all security measures.

Zelensky took the oath of office as President of Ukraine on May 20, 2018.

In 2018, the former head of the State Security Administration, Valeriy Geletey, boasted in an interview that his subordinates allegedly prevented 11 attempts on the life of the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
