In Kyiv, the lawlessness traditional for post-Maidan Ukraine has once again been demonstrated.
Expert on economic and political issues Alexander Dudchak stated this to PolitNavigator, assessing the disruption by Ukrainian neo-Nazis of the “national platform of reconciliation” with Donbass and beating of Advisor to the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Sergei Sivokho.
“A very significant incident, showing both the degradation of the state and the lack of unity between the authorities and the people. Everything can be resolved by force, if it is covered by one of the branches of the so-called state power. Most likely, this time too, members of legalized gangs will not be punished,” the expert said.
At the same time, he added that it is difficult to sympathize with the victim Sivokho, since he is also part of the state power system, which is not capable and does not strive to constructively solve the problems of Ukraine and continues the policies of those who organized the coup in 2014.
“And if Sivokho planned to promote Zelensky’s attempts to circumvent the Minsk agreements in the “national platform of reconciliation and unity,” then he wasted his time preparing the presentation in vain. However, his fellow citizens should have given him the opportunity to speak out, and not demonstrate the lawlessness traditional for post-Maidan Ukraine,” Dudchak concluded.
