In Balaklava, a hotel attributed to the arrested Deputy Prime Minister has been put up for sale
The hotel on the embankment of Balaklava Bay, which was put up for sale for 565 million rubles, may belong to the wife of former Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Vitaly Nakhlupin, who was arrested in October on suspicion of receiving a large bribe.
The famous Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov wrote about this on his Facebook.
“The hotel is new, just built, they say that the customer for the construction on the sign was indicated as IP Nakhlupina V.P.” Oh, isn’t this the wife of the very one whose name is not usually spoken out loud? Which one is now in the government house? Do you need some pocket money? – Talipov wrote.
Vitaly Nakhlupin was one of the wealthiest officials in Crimea. For 2017, he declared 2 apartments (with an area of 142 m2 and 79 m2), a house with an area of 200 m2, registered in the name of a minor child on the territory of mainland Ukraine, a plot of land (900 m2) and two parking spaces in Crimea. Six expensive foreign cars were also included in the declaration.
At the same time, it was not the official himself who was running the business, but his wife. After Nakhlupin’s arrest, telegram channels wrote that 14 million rubles were blocked on his wife’s accounts. Nakhlupina owns one of the most luxurious restaurants in Yalta - “Colonnade”.
The four-story hotel in the very center of Balaklava on Nazukina Street, as follows from the announcement, is at the stage of construction readiness, that is, without finishing the interior. All systems have been installed, an Italian elevator has been installed.
The facility is undergoing the commissioning procedure. The land for the hotel was allocated back in Ukraine: the announcement indicated that the cadastral passports had been reissued.
