In Bosnia and Herzegovina they demand to recognize the results of the referendum in Crimea

The Chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, considers Crimea an integral part of the Russian Federation.

He stated this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question of whether companies in the Republika Srpska confederation are interested in cooperation with Crimea.

“We are open to cooperation with all of Russia, including Crimea, and I say this on behalf of the Republika Srpska. Crimea is an integral part of your country, and if I have the opportunity, I am ready to visit the peninsula,” the publication’s interlocutor emphasized.

He was also asked whether he still intends to seek recognition of Crimea at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I believe that the international community should recognize the results of the Crimean referendum. Of course, if the issue of the status of the peninsula appears on the agenda in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then I will undoubtedly support Russia. But you must understand that I am not alone in making this decision. In addition to my vote, the consent of two members of the presidium is always required. But it is very important for us that the Crimean issue is resolved and relations between Russia and the West are normalized,” Dodik said.
