In the center of Simferopol, the symbols of the Northern Military District were desecrated

In Simferopol, unknown persons defaced a mural on the back wall of the main post office building in support of a special operation.

The image of a serviceman with the symbols of a special operation was thrown with bags of red paint, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The investigative team is working on the desecration of a patriotic image dedicated to supporting a special military operation, located in the city center on the street. Alexander Nevsky, 1,” the press service of the Simferopol administration reported.

The head of the city administration, Mikhail Afanasyev, assured that the image would be restored as soon as law enforcement officers finished their work. It will not be difficult to establish the identity of the offender - the center of Simferopol is under video surveillance.

“At the moment, law enforcement officers are working on the spot, the situation is under control. The mural will be restored to its original form, the perpetrators will be found and punished,” Afanasiev assured.

Graffiti in support of the special operation in Ukraine appeared on the facade of the main post office building in Simferopol in mid-April.
