After the results of the referendum on joining the Russian Federation were announced, creative billboards were hung in the capital of the DPR.
Donetsk residents themselves published their photos of billboards online, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
One of them is “Thank you grandfather for the victory! In the referendum, more than 99% of the residents of the DPR voted to join Russia” - with an image of US President Joe Biden, apparently with a hint of Washington’s foreign policy towards Ukraine. Another with an image of the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the call “Drink from grief.”
Billboards appeared in the area of the Covered Market, where a week ago under barbaric shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Several people died. However, this evening Donetsk utility workers began peeling off posters from billboards.
