The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv arrested the Kuznitsa na Rybatsky plant, which previously belonged to the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, as part of its purchase and sale proceedings, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the acting Head of the SBI press service Maxim Belousenko.
“Yes, now we can only confirm the arrest (of the Kuznitsa on Rybatsky plant - ed.),” Belousenko said.
According to him, the arrest took place as part of criminal proceedings for the purchase and sale of the Kuznitsa na Rybatsky plant.
We would like to remind you that investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation began two criminal proceedings based on statements from the former deputy head of the Presidential Administration during the Yanukovych era, Andrei Portnov, who returned to Ukraine on May 19 after a five-year absence. Poroshenko is accused of money laundering and tax evasion at Kuznitsa on Rybatsky.
According to Portnov himself, the main defendants in the case are Poroshenko and Sergei Tigipko.
“We continue a range of educational and criminal confiscation measures. Nothing personal, just a thief should be in prison,” Portnov added in his Telegram channel.
