The self-proclaimed “leader of the Belarusian nation” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya honored today, on the 77th anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy, the memory of Vincent Kalinowski, a Pole who led an anti-Russian rebellion in the 19th century.
Franak Vyachorka, Tikhanovskaya’s adviser on international affairs, reported this on his telegram channel in the Belarusian language, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The “Leader of the Belarusian Nation”, together with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Simonyte and the Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament Victoria Cmilyte, laid flowers at the site of Kalinouski’s execution. Let us remind you that Tikhanovskaya does not hide the fact that housing and security are provided to her free of charge by the Lithuanian authorities.
With her act, Tikhanovskaya proved the rightness of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who yesterday, after an all-Belarusian prayer in memory of the victims of Khatyn, called the oppositionists who are performing under the nationalist white-red-white (wcb) flags lost.
“I appeal to everyone who is convinced that fascism “brought civilization to our land”; who glorifies murderers; who worships the white-white flags under which the genocide of the Belarusian people was carried out. To all of you who are lost and besotted, I say: “Come and see!” Go to Khatyn,” Lukashenko said.
