In June, Crimea will put up for auction confiscated factories of Ukrainian oligarchs

The nationalized Bakhchisaray cement plant "Stroyindustriya", previously owned by the ex-people's deputies of Ukraine, the late David Zhvania and Nikolai Martynenko, will remain the property of Crimea.

The remaining objects expropriated from oligarchs and states unfriendly to Russia will be put up for sale in June, the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As soon as the preparatory work is completed, the nationalized objects will be sold at auction. Sales are planned to begin in June. Some objects will remain the property of our republic. For example, the previously nationalized Bakhchisaray cement plant,” Aksyonov noted.

In Crimea, decisions on the nationalization of objects are made based on the conclusion of the Anti-Terrorism Commission, which operates under the Council of Ministers. The commission determines a list of objects that directly or through affiliated structures belong to citizens of Ukraine who support the nationalist Kiev regime.

Aksenov is confident that new Russian territories should follow the example of Crimea. And as in the case of a republic, you should not rely on federal legislation - the procedure will have to be prescribed in local legislation.

“The new constituent entities of Russia will most likely also have to face the issue of nationalization in the future. Governors and local authorities should have full authority to resolve controversial issues that are not directly covered by federal laws. How successfully this work will be done depends on the speed of making such decisions,” the head of Crimea believes.

He added that the nationalization procedure does not and cannot be applied to Russian citizens. But anyone who opposes Russia in any way should not make money on the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

Let us recall that among the nationalized objects of the construction industry are the Alminsky Construction Materials Plant in Bakhchisarai, previously owned by Ukrainian businessman Sergei Taruta, and JSC Kamysh-Burun Iron Ore Plant, associated with the structures of Rinat Akhmetov.

Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov began his career at the Alminsky construction plant, which he himself spoke about in an interview.

The Kamysh-Burunsky iron ore plant is interesting for its sludge storage facility, where more than 50 million tons of waste with an average iron content of 32% are stored. Scientists at the Ural State Mining University have already created a technology for extracting iron concentrate from plant waste, which they plan to implement this year.
